Sofia, August 12, 2026 – Electrocharge continues to expand its electric vehicle charging network with a new fast charging station at the Petrol Kulata service station, located in close proximity to the Bulgarian-Greek border crossing. The new station provides a convenient charging option along one of the busiest international routes, making EV travel easier both within Bulgaria and towards Greece. Thanks to its strategic location, drivers can charge their vehicles just before crossing the border and continue their journey with greater peace of mind. On the route to Kulata, drivers can also make use of Electrocharge’s fast charging station in Simitli. Together, the two locations offer additional flexibility when planning trips and are particularly convenient for electric vehicles with shorter driving ranges. With these new locations, Electrocharge continues the steady development of its charging infrastructure along major transport corridors and at strategic sites across the country. The goal is to make long-distance travel with electric vehicles increasingly accessible, convenient, and predictable. Electrohold began building its Electrocharge electric vehicle charging network at the end of 2024. More information about the charging stations, their locations, and available charging options can be found at www.electrocharge.bg and in the Electrocharge mobile application.
